Silmec was founded in 1969 producing grilles and accessories for ovens.
A few years later, the experience gained in wire and sheet metal working allowed a new project of mailboxes production. In 1975, the company’s success was such that it was necessary to open a specific department which, over the years, saw a trend of continuous growth. The resourcefulness of the Pellizzari family continues with a series of technological investments, adapting the plants, industrialising the production processes, and organising the different departments in a synergic way.
Over the years, Silmec becomes an important economic reality in the north-east of Italy in the production of grilles for ovens and refrigerators that punctually satisfy the quality standards required by important multinational companies. Nowadays, Silmec is growing with a strong leadership in Italy in the field of custody and distribution of mail and in the development of filing cabinets for condominiums and storage boxes.

Currently, the production cycles, from design to manufacturing, take place entirely inside the Silmec plants, ensuring a totally Italian concept, design and production. Silmec has 30,000 msq – 14,100 covered – and uses only raw materials supplied by leading Italian companies.
The dedication to work typical of the Veneto region, the study and know-how of the staff, and an optimised work process in all the departments allow a flexibility that promptly satisfies Silmec’s customers.
